Ages 9 – 12 | Paula Caruana

In this clay exploration for the creative preteen, projects range from hand-built functional pottery to ceramic sculpture inspired by famous artists. Lessons focus on popular and historic artists, sculptors, ceramicists, and cultural icons. Visits to the The Museum of Art lead the way for projects through this daily two-week session. Materials provided.

SESSION I
MONDAY - FRIDAY, 9 - 11:30 a.m.
10 classes / 25 contact hours

*Face coverings and social distancing required.

PLEASE NOTE: Parents are asked to provide a snack for break time and a smock to protect clothing. All other supplies are included.  Snack break will be outside so that kids can take a mask break as well.

IMPORTANT: To ensure the age appropriateness of the curriculum, children must meet the age requirement listed with each course description by the beginning of class.
