INTRO TO STAINED GLASS ARTISTRY
Ages 18 + / All Levels / L. David Pye, Ph.D.
Dive into glass. Following an introduction on historical and modern aspects of
stained glass, students construct a framed work of art in brilliant colored glass.
This hands-on process includes the fundamentals of pattern design and utilization;
cutting, sizing and fitting various pieces of glass; and joining methods. Materials
included. Limited spots.

NOTE: This is a special “visible workshop” to celebrate our summer of glass. The
workshop will take place in the Museum of Art Sculpture court and viewable by
the public while in progress.
