Ages 18 + / Beginning / Mary Beth Fiorentino


Learn simple metalworking skills and pair them with decorative embroidery
techniques. Decorate simple metal shapes with french knots, blanket stitches, and
chain stitches. Take it to the next level and crochet pieces with thin metal wire or
use die forming to drape. With daily demos, including ear wires and jump rings,
you’ll create at least six finished pieces of jewelry such as earrings and necklaces.
Materials list provided. Starter kit available for purchase at first class.

SAFETY INFO: Please wear closed toe shoes and hair tied back for each class.

PLEASE NOTE: There are no open studio or lab hours offered during the summer
jewelry sessions. Students must take a Fall or Spring "Beginning Jewelry" course before progressing to Intermediate/Advanced Jewelry courses.
