Paint dazzling realistic depictions of familiar objects and contemporary
foodstuffs through a classical lens. Traditional Dutch still life oil techniques and
modern applications are taught to hone individual students skills with shape, color,
and texture. In-studio presentations focus on OG 17c Dutch painters, the history
of food as artistic subject, and the meaning of food in contemporary art and pop
culture. This is a dynamic class for beginners as well as experienced painters.
