Ages 18+ / All Levels / Chris Irick

The newest technology in jewelry making has come to MWPAI! Learn Rhino 3D
modeling software to digitally create prototypes and set up files for 3D printing
with fused deposition modeling (FDM), stereolithography (SLA) and selective laser
sintering (SLS) technologies. Although focused on jewelry forms, the concepts and
skills are relevant to all 3D modeling and printing. Students learn digital design
skills and may send class project files to third party printing companies to purchase
final printed objects. Note: Saturday open studios for CAE jewelry students is not
available for CAD/CAM students.
