Fashion for the absolute beginner! Discover all the basics of operating a sewing machine, how to read a paper pattern, and to properly prepare and cut fabric. Learn basic construction techniques for garments such as hem finishes, seam finishes, darts, gathers, plackets, collars, and armholes, and finish the class with a completed garment. Materials list provided.

TO REGISTER FOR ON-CAMPUS CLASSES, COMMUNITY STUDENTS OVER 18 MUST:
+ Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to the first day of class (full vaccination is two weeks after the final dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.)
+ Be prepared to show a vaccination record (physical card, or copy/digital photo of card) to the instructor at your first class.
+ If not fully vaccinated by the time of the first day of class, we kindly request that you wait to take a class with us until you are.
