Ages 18+ | All Levels | Janet Loren Hill, 2019/20 Artist in Residence

Inspired by the upcoming summer exhibition, Emma Amos: Color Odyssey, artist Janet Loren Hill leads a conceptually engaging weaving workshop exploring some of Amos's rich tapestry works and series of window paintings. Learn how to create a cardboard tapestry loom and develop basic tapestry weaving techniques from the comfort of your home. Students create a sketch of the view outside their home window which will be the guide to weave the scene into a small 8 x 10 inch tapestry.  Materials list provided.
